    What can cause my battery to die sometimes. I get a jump its fine. Run the car for hours cut it off it won't start. 91 Cadillac Sedan

    Your post has nothing to do with vehicle warranty or dealer communications problems. Please read the descriptive text in each forum title to find out what's supposed to post there.

    Update your profile with your car year, model, mileage. It makes a big difference - we'll then move this to the proper forum for action.

    Are you sure it's the battery? How long is it off before it won't start? Immediately or overnight?

    If you jump start the car to get it running, then it won't start the next time, your alternator is probably not charging the battery. Take it to an auto parts store and ask them to test the alternator.

    Have the battery tested. It is probably bad. Do you notice any fluid coming out of the battery? If the alternator stops charging the battery usually dies pretty quickly....
