Exclamation 2001 DHS TCS failure? I have pulled codes.

I have an 01 deville DHS.

I have a traction control light on and it will not engage because of this.

    I have pulled the codes

    I got (CURRENT: ABS C1277, ABS C1284, ABS C1287)
    (HISTORY: ABS C1282, ABS C1283, ABS C1288)

I've already learned that the abs c128x codes are related the steering wheel position sensor, but was wondering if that sensor could have also caused c1277- "Requested Torque Circuit Malfunction"? I just dont wan't to run out and spend $1k to fix and install new ebtcm if it can be avoided. Please help me as I dont know much about caddys.

I just had my EBCM repaired. Myairbags.com does it for about 60 bucks. 24 hour turn around with a lifetime garuntee. You can also find them on eBay. I sent mine in, and 24 hours after they received it, it was fixed and shipped back to me.

I have heard that the dealership will have to reprogram it though, is that true? and i don't really want to run right out and repair the module if thats the actual issue?
    thanks for the post.

Your box is full, here's the info you asked me about:

i had checked the code years ago and it was for the ecbm relay, which is inside ecbm. I'm pretty sure it was a c1234. It made the abs, traction control and red brake light come on. When I sent the ecbm off for repair, remembering what was wrong with it years ago, it fixed my problem. My specific code was for the ecbm relay though.

the codes i was getting are at the top of the page, theyre relating to torque signal and steering wheel position sensor. just dont see how module could be the target of the problem.

Yea I had seen someone mention EBCM, but I don't think any of your codes indicate EBCM failure.
