FIRST - you need to decide WAT you want to do -
go UP - or DOWN -

THEN you need to figure out your budget for this project -

THEN you need to figure out WAT you want to do in the front -

As in larger rims in the rear?

FWIW, almost nobody here is into mods, you probably won't get your answer here.

The alternatives will give you a harsher ride, and the rear will sag under load.

ELC system != air ride. You can convert the rear shocks with coil over shocks and disable ELC, but I believe that's known for harsh ride. Basically it won't be riding like a Cadillac anymore. Same thing goes with stiffer springs, if you even can find one that's made for the car.

Any modifications for "look" will involve custom parts with these cars. No one makes any "kits" for these. Not many aftermarket wheels with 5x115. (5x4.5(114.3) is NOT 5x115 and hubcentric rings are not the solution)

The car needs the ELC system for load carrying ability as well as to maintain proper rear wheel alignment (camber). Take a look at the monroe parts site - they make less expensive ELC shocks for our cars. Also, talk to Chris in parts at Rippy cadillac, over there >>>>>

The shocks and springs handle the "ride" and basic ride height; the ELC handles the extra loads in the rear seat or trunk. It is NOT "air ride".

Big bucks in suspension modification to keep anything close to the proper wheel alignment/suspension geometry. As you lower a suspension that uses lower control arms and struts/shocks you get into some really weird camber problems.

Who has the recent pictures/links of/to the ugly Beemer and Mercedes cars with the wheels/tires tilted in toward the center of the hood/trunk ???

You want to stance a FWD Deville? Are you trying to race with it?
