Minor viration on acceleration - 02 Deville

I recently replaced my left front cv joint on 02 deville. Only reason I replaced the old one was because of a large amount of green/yellow grease below the axle - no other problems. I am now noticing some slight vibration when accelerating - in that 35-45 mph range- and actaully more so with hard acceleration?

A couple questions - when replaing CV joints- should both sides be done at the same time (form what I have read online - the symptoms sound like CV joint is a possibility)? The car has 209K - I have had it since 32K and take excellent care of it - fix everything immediately. Runs fine otherwise - but I was thinking it might be a motor mount?

    Any thoughts?

No need to replace both cv joints at the same time, especially when you only changed the one due to boot being bad.,

How old are the tires? Could they be out of balance?

Motor mounts have been known to cause a vibration.

Ranger - the tires are fine - newer maybe 20K on them - but I will have them rotated and balanced just as a check. How do you check for motor mount problems?
