    Re: loosing coolant no leaks

You'll get better results posting down in the dedicated Deville section. It sounds like you have blown head gaskets to me. Check the coolant with a block test kit from the parts store.

    Re: loosing coolant no leaks

This has nothing to do with Site news or registration. please read the text in exac forum banner to find out what is supposed to be posted there.

Please update your profile with your car model, year, and maybe your approximate location. It makes diagnosis much easier if we know that we're dealing with a Deville right off the bat instead of with a jeep.

Moved to the proper Deville forums.

    Re: loosing coolant no leaks

Coolant loss with no external leaks is not good. How fast does the coolant need to be replaced? There are a few places that can leak and evaporate before dripping and are very hard to see like the radiator side tanks. Are you overheating? If not, borrow a pressure tester from AutoZone and pressurize the system (cold). If it does not hold pressure, keep pumping it up until you find the leak. If you are overheating, then borrow a block test kit from AutoZone and just pay for the test fluid. Run the test after an overheat episode.
