Hello all I am a new member and very glad to have found this site. I own 2
Cadillacs..a 1958 sedan and a 1999 sedan..I am having trouble with my 99 there is static coming thru the front door speakers...thus draining the battery. I don't know where to start... This is happening with the key off... I pulled the fuse to the radio. No results..any suggestions would be helpful... I don't even know if I'm in the right forum.. Like I said I'm new to this

    Welcome Aboard !!!

I'll move this to Deville and we'll see what happens. That's where the car "fixes" are. The Lounge is for "How's your dog" chit-chat.

I'd start by pulling the codes as described in the sticky at top of forum and posting with definitions.
The BCM controls the RAP power, is everything else shutting off after 10 minutes?
If you want to start checking grounds there are a ton, kick panels, behind and under rear seat, trunk and a bunch under the hood. If you start checking & cleaning them unhook the battery first.
