    Problem solved fixed itself. Wont be disconnecting that any time soon...thanks for all the advise guys.now who wants to give me a little on keyless entry.doesn't work

    Alarm installers, and some parts stores, have a device that indicates if the fob is transmitting. Start there.

    Thanks.but like I said I bought it that way.went under dash did the crossover wire deal.nothing..I noticed the hood emblem alarm was disconnected -off completely. I noticed when the doors are locked and you push door lever in a little I can see the inside lights come on.is that normal.the local gm dealer here where I live are noted to being dumber than a bag of hammers

    Yes. It's a "security" feature. I guess it's supposed to allow you to see if anyone is hiding in the back seat before you get in.

    It also illuminates the keyhole, so you can unlock it easier.

    But, that was an option. Not all were equipted with that feature.

    All the 93 deville s I had, had that feature, and I have one now and it lights up, I figured that was a standard
