    Diagnostic code help...2002 Deville DHS

Here are the codes that were in the system from last week when I pulled them. Also, the radio was intermittent prior to the battery dying and being replaced. Shortly after I put in the new battery is when the radio went completely out.

    Codes

    ABS
C1282 HISTORY - YAW RATE SENSOR BIAS CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
C1287 HISTORY - STEERING SENSOR RATE MALFUNCTION
C1295 HISTORY - BRAKE LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT OPEN

    AMP
    U1000 CURRENT - CLASS 2 COMMUNICATIONS MALFUNCTION
U1128 HISTORY - LOSS OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH IRC

    IPC
U1016 HISTORY - LOSS OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH PCM
U1151 HISTORY - LOSS OF SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR CLASS 2 DEVICES
    U1000 CURRENT - CLASS 2 COMMUNICATIONS MALFUNCTION
B1004 HISTORY - KEEP ALIVE MEMORY

    IPM
    B0429 CURRENT - TEMPERATURE CONTROL #3 REAR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
U1016 HISTORY - LOSS OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH PCM
B1004 HISTORY - KEEP ALIVE MEMORY

I cleared them last week and the only ones that keep appearing are all of the ABS codes less YAW, the U1000 AMP code, the U1000 IPC code, and the B0429 IPM code. (this only appears when the heater is on. I have cleared it and ran diagnostics with the heater off and there is no code.) I also keep getting svc stability system and traction control lights.

Other possible symptoms that I have observed.
-The lights on the DIC don't work on either side. I assume that they are supposed to work because finding them at night is a pain.
-The radio button lights work except for the preset buttons. There is no clock or display information
-The light in the Driver Door lock switch doesn't work along with the 1, and 2 buttons on the driver memory settings buttons. (I assume that these are bad bulbs, but maybe not?? How are the bulbs/LED replaced?)

History codes will eventually disappear on their own. The B 0429 tells you that the diverter door/actuator for the airflow to the rear console vent system is messed up.

U codes come and go like clouds - voltage hiccups, data flow hiccups, iffy electrical connectors.

The various button lights - you're in the switch replacement business or the switch disassembly/soldering business............. most of them are "grain of wheat" bulbs - 2006 technology for automotive LED use wasn't around yet ....................

So do I replace the head unit or is it all in the wiring?
