Remove the engine cover and begin checking for vacuum leaks - the P 0171 / 0174 are lean mixture codes - usually an air/vacuum leak - anywhere from the throttlebody to intake manifold to overpressure valve to various vacuum lines.

P 1376 might be the ground cable at the ICM - the coils are mounted on it. Spark plug wires go to specific coil terminals - mark them.

The catalyst and miss code(s) may be due to the above.

Hello to all, Took caddy in for a professional diagnostic, they found the following vacume leak, INTAKE PLENUM DOOR.
It also might need the catalytic converter replaced but recommended the plenum door replaced first.
Their estimate is $391.00, How difficult of a job is this?

"Intake plenum door"? Does that mean the manifold over pressurization valve? If so, it's not terribly difficult (depending on your skill level). You'll need to remove the manifold aka intake plenum.

It's possible that it might just need to have the seal and seat cleaned. Nothing to loose by trying.

Would a damp cloth be sufficient or will I need a special type of cleaner?

    Thanks Ranger
