99 deville crazy high idle after driving with hard shifting!

I drive about 30 minutes to work each day. Today when i got there and put it in park it was shifting really hard. Then when i get it in park it idled at about 2500 when i would shift into another germar it bounced to whole car! Turned off sat around went into work and put in some pto hours and came out to my car about 40 minutes later and it shifted fine... maybe a little bit hard but not much. Drove home fine. However when i got home it was idleing high at about 1400 in park. No codes of yet.. any ideas?

Time for a throttlebody, Idle Air Control (Idle Speed Control ???) and PCV system cleaning as well as a check of all vacuum lines/elbows/connectors for air leaks..

Google "cadillac forums 1999 deville throttlebody cleaning" and the same sequence for idle air/speed control.

Ok so i found a guide and did everything it said to do opened up the throttle body cleaned throttle body. Then idled the car and sprays the rest of the cleaner in let it burn the cleaner off for like 5 minutes. Then reassembled it all and went for a drive... it runs better then ever.. like alot better. Wot is instant now where as before there was a slight delay. Only thing is now my car threw a random code... i read on another post to just clear it... anything else i should do now that iv done that? Iv read something about relearning or something. Not sure if a gotta do that....

Also dont worry i used a cad and o2 safe cleaner!
