Post How to remove headlight switch in 99 Deville?

I am installing a remote starter in my father's 99 Deville and was wondering, what is the proper procedure to remove the headlight switch? I just don't want to break anything.
It is really hard to reach it from the back and I can't really see it to find out how it is attached.
I need to probe some wires with the switch attached to the harness. Looking to hook up the running lights and trunk release to the remote starter.
    Any tips are appreciated.
    Thanks.
