looking for some 15" wire wheels for 205/70/15s

I already have the tires, and im looking for some wire wheels that will fit them and look good. Going for the classic look, don't want anything thatll stick out too far, etc. 15x6 to 7 seems to be what im seeing on eBay. What offset?

Could you guys maybe post pics of some different devilles (mine is an 89) with 15" wire wheels, so I can get an idea? Here's a few I found.

I also noticed there are different styles. Some have more of a lip, some less, some have like thicker spokes that kind of look like the style on the OEM hubcaps.

More lip=negative offset bro. If you want some that dont stick out to far then look for some not too wide wheels with almost zero offset for that original look. Negative offset is more lip, positive offset is almost no lip at all, just like most of the newer cars have that dont have a lip at all.

Heres a reference picture for you.

I do like those! I wish I had vogue tires but I only have normal white walls.

Vogues look great. But if you actually drive the car on a regular basis, you'll be glad you don't have them. Lots of money for pretty crapy tires.

I'm with MC - Vogues may be a pretty tire -
but there are MUCH better tires available for a lot less money -

These are the 15" OEM rims that have been chromed
The original hubcap was 'rejuvenated' by disassembly, painting the inner circle black, chroming the outer ring, and then putting a larger cadillac wreath on them. the original has an impressed wreath with a plastic cover, all silver alloy color, and the plastic yellows

dennis does have great taste and skill
the underside of his car is cleaner than my windows!

So that pic above is a hubcap on a factory steelie wheel, or is it an actual wheel.

I remember somewhere you can get your favorite brand of tire and then some company give them the vogue treatment.

I like all the wheels in this thread (so far). I also like the factory wire hubcaps too.

Re: looking for some 15" wire wheels for 205/70/15s

Most people would never spend $139 for a 15" tire. It's a matter of performance or looks, you can't always have both. I just wanted to try a set because I can afford to. I haven't experienced the problems they claim YET. Was looking at them yesterday and noticed the little on the tread are still hanging on the rears after 2k.

The wheels are factory PH6, nothing special that were original machined aluminum with a clear coat. They were stripped, polished smooth and chrome plated. Much cheaper to have done than buy aftermarket chrome wheels, which nothing I saw appealed to me. We all have different taste, sometimes.

The center caps are the original stamped stainless steel , been modified, and the only center cap that will fit my rims. Believe me I measured and looked at every possible way to have a different cap. The original center piece of the cap was a plastic insert painted silver inside with a molded wreath and emblem chromed all stuck on with clear RTV. All of them were seperating, silver paint from the RTV. I struggled with all of them getting the plastic insert off. Cleaned off all of the old RTV, plugged 3 holes about 3/4" in diameter with some aluminum sheet metal and epoxy, polished the outer portion of the cap, masked off and painted the centers. They look black, but they are actually dark plum same color as lower panels on my car. You could paint them any color you want. I used emblems and wreaths from the trunk lid, same or similar model year as mine. They are very close to same size as the ones molded in the insert that I removed.

Thank you everybody for the comments. Somewhere I have before and after pics I'll have to look for.
