Yes, several people have done it. It's a bitch of a job. You might find a tutorial in the Tech Tips section. If not, then do a google search. Something like "crossover manifold>cadillacforums".

Time consuming and tedious. Limited space to work in, the section on engine compartment wiring harness that straddles the transmission is constantly in your way, and keeping all 8 bolts and 4 gaskets in place on the crossover while you guide it back into place is.....not fun.

If you decide to tackle it yourself, remove as many parts from the surrounding area as possible, have an assortment of socket extensions and universal joints handy, and BUY YOURSELF A SLIM, REVERSIBLE, FLEX HEAD RATCHETING WRENCH for the crossover bolts. 13MM IIRC.

I just did it last year. It is a tight space and very time consuming but I thought it was fun.

    Re: Water Pump Housing Crossover.

I didn't have anything leaking from my car almost 50,000 miles ago, I understand its old and things fail due to age.
Since then Ive don't the Radiator, Overflow Tank, Thermostat, Water Pump Seal was leaking badly awhile ago, Heater Pipe under Throttle Body and that's when I discovered the Crossover was leaking at the Cylinder Head at the rear and couldn't see the connection to the block.
It appears to be going from one area to another

Going to tackle it this weekend. Saturday and Sunday should be enough time to tackle it (fingers crossed)
    Got the Green Hoses also.

Just noticed your username. Never seen someone use a transmission designation.

Good luck with the crossover job. Let us know how it turns out.
