    Which one is it? (Pics)

I have a 1997 D'Elegance and my keyless remote stopped working. I had a locksmith try and program a new remote, but he said it didn't work and that it must be the module inside the car, and that it was behind the rear seat. So I took the rear seat off and I have no idea which component it is back there; there's wires and boxes everywhere. So here's a pic, and I'm hoping someone can tell me where it is.

Also; I'm just wondering what these wires in the trunk are for?

Those wires look like trailer wiring, but hard to tell all wrapped up. Do is have a flat plug on end and does car have a hitch?

Thanks guys, I found it. I opened it up and there is a burnt spot under one of the electrical pieces inside; so I'm guessing it's fried. Next question; if I bought another module would it work with my remote? Do I just plug it in and it works right away, or I have to program my remote to it?

    There's a "programing" method.
Not sure which way it goes tho.
    Check your owners manual.
