    1997 Deville D'Elegance Work

So my aunt is giving me her 97 Deville to fix up, but im not sure if it will be worth it... I'm ok
with dropping about 3k into it, but I really dont want to go much farther than that... I'm looking at a new exhaust, possibly a total brake job (including lines) new wheels and tires, and a new windshield. other than that, it should be good, the tranny and everything else has about
120,000 miles on it but the motor was replaced with one at 70,000, Still a northstar. Its also
got a few dents and scratches that I'd like to take care of, but again, this all needs to be in the 3 to 4k ball park.

THE QUESTION IS... IS IT POSSIBLE, PROBABLE, AND PRACTICAL?'

Any input would be thoroughly appreciated.

The first and most important question is, are you doing the work or having it done. That will make a BIG difference. Labor will run the cost up VERY quickly.

I would be having most of the work if not all of it done by the family mechanic...

in that case - you will need to take the car to the "family mechanic"
and have him inspect the car - then give you an estimate -

then take it to a body shop for an estimate -
