I have had hesitation, performance, hard starts and MPG issues with my 96 Deville, I have replaced the MAF sensor/casing, O2 sensors, cleaned the throttle body, used injector cleaner and fuel treatment. I have also replaced the EGR, crank shaft sensors and radiator recently. The plugs and wires are a little over a year old.
While cleaning the throttle I removed the TPS and the hard start disappeared. I went for a test drive and the car had increased performance but not up to par and still the hesitation. When I returned I thought I would try removing the TPS and see what happened, I had no hesitation and increased performance but MPG was still down.
What should my next step be, I am almost convinced just to leave off the TPS and deal with the MPG.
