After 40 mph seems like transmission disengages

Good day. Several months ago the trans seemed to stutter a little when going from 40 to 50. While driving when car gets to 40 mph. Seems like the trans. disengages/slips. I put into 3 and it goes fine. This happens mostly when car is cold but can after running for a while. Fluid level is ok. I have code
E91 . Please help where do I begin?

Based on your codes and a quick bing search, it sounds like your Park/Neutral Safety switch is bad. If you plan on doing this yourself, it'd be a great idea to get a Factory Service Manual (FSM). Ebay is your go-to-guy

I think the way to check if it is bad is that the car will not start in Neutral correct

I think so, but I'm not entirely sure. I've seen a vid on youtube where the car will only start in neutral. You will want to check your wiring first though, and make sure that it's snug. I'm just going off the code your car has, and what I've read the code's definition to be. The wiring may be at fault, tripping a code for the switch. That's what happened with my transmission. Coded for a sensor, turned out to be a wiring harness.

Clean your grounds, should be one close to your trans.
