94 Deville wiper motor question
Alright, so I replaced the starter (disconected - battery cable, etc...) and when that was done, the wiper motor seemed to have fried itself. I think it's just coincidence...the wipers were a bit slow for a while...but moving on...
I replaced the wiper motor, which did not include the cover that goes on the front--has a circuit board in it. So that part was transferred over to the new motor. I made sure to get the 3 little contacts from the old one. Anyway, the wipers work fine, but the washer fluid will not...wash... What I'm wondering is if there's a way to know whether that circuit part was partially fried along with the motor, or if the washer pump itself is more likely...or something completely different...
