What kind and about how much will it cost to replace the struts on a 99 DeVille. Do they have Electronic sensors on them which increases the cost? Does the front end need to be realigned when replacing the struts.
what deville do you have, the only one that i know of that does not have electronic it the basic deville......ex. that i have, the struts can be found at Oreillys, or any other auto parts store, total price around 400 bucks, if you do not have a basic deville, concours for ex, you will have electronic and be prepared to shell out some clams.....and yes always a great idea to have an alighnment done when you put struts on the car....thats my 2 cent:devil:
------------------------
I recommend Monroe brand shocks and struts -
if you have the electronic struts -
the part numbers for your front struts are
Monroe 40019 - Monroe 40020 -
the best price is around $375 each - with free shipping - from Amazon.com -
there is a MUCH BETTER - and MUCH CHEAPER solution -
if you do NOT have electronic struts -
or want to convert your electronic struts to "PASSIVE" struts -
Monroe puts out a complete "kit" that has everything you will need for both front struts -
Monroe 90011 - the best price is from Amazon.com - $168.32 with free shipping -
installation and alignment would be your responsibility -
