    Losing vacuum

    Morning all

Tonight while looking under hood I heard a hissing sound I move my ear closer to the passenger side fire wall and I saw that a tiny hose sitting on top of wires has cracked is there
any way to replace this, does anyone know what it controls would this leak be the reason behind my emergency brake not releasing fully?

Thanks in Advance for any help

    Re: Losing vaccum

Yes, that is most likely why your park brake isn't releasing. You should be able to get new vacuum hose at most any parts store.

It is the cabin vacuum supply line for the HVAC air distribution control and as Dennis said, the parking brake release.

    Re: Losing vacuum

If the hose is supple and not hard where it goes through the firewall, Then you may be able to splice a new piece into it. If it is hard, Then you should replace the entire hose from the engine to the vacuum tee over the steering column.
