Need Fleetwood Limited badging - Is it unique or is it GM parts?

One of my '99 Fleetwood Limiteds managed to be in a hail storm. Nationwide Ins wrote me a nice check but I'm worried about the next time. So, I'm getting it done up nicely before I get it apparaised for a declared value policy. That involves getting the passenger side door repainted because of a chunk of paint that was removed when I ran over a bottle and it flipped up like a tiddlywink, kerchunking my door.

Problem is replacing the "FLEETWOOD LIMITED" badge on the door. Accubilt's part guys have zero.

Was this part unique to the Fleetwood Limited or was it maybe a combination of a factory "Fleetwood" badge and a factory "Limited" badge? I'm hoping for the latter and that someone here can direct me to the year cars they were on.

The lettering is 5/8" high. "FLEETWOOD" is 9 3/8" long. Total length for both words is around 17".

    I'm attaching pics.

Take a look in BiggDaddyCaddy's eBay store site. More real Cadillac badges than you've ever seen - and not cheap, either.

I'd be interested in also knowing about the badging. I thought when they were new the lettering was chromed. Mine are all black. SO, if there is a source somewhere maybe chrome ones are available?? It would look better IMHO...

My dad, who worked at Fleetwood in Detroit from 1958-1981 is starting to sell some of his Cadillac badging. He found over 100 hood, trunk, and interior badges. He just listed some on ebay, well, I did for him. These Fleetwood badges I believe are from the 70's. Maybe as late as 83. They are under Cadillac Fleetwood Badging Fisher Body Plant Detroit Michigan on ebay. I will try to figure out how to load pictures here.

Currently, I'm just looking for the "FLEETWOOD" that matches the pictures I posted. I'm not redoing the driver side door so going in a new direction is NOT what I'm interested in.

Getting the car back today from my body guy minus badging on the front passenger door. I was told that gluing the old one on was bad for the paint. I guess my option is to put double stick tape on the old one and to spend a lot of time with an exacto knife cutting the tape to match the badge.

Seems to me I've seen one Fleetwood Limited where the Superior Coach "Fleetwood Limited" badges were replaced with gold script "Fleetwood" badges that are available.
