wet spot on drivers side floor

2000 deville base. Have noticed a "cold wet" spot on the floor in the middle of the carpet on the drivers side just in front of the seat. First time thought it was from a bottle of water that fell over. Went on a 300 mile trip this past week and noticed it again. It is cold to the touch. Before I get it up on ramps, is there any drain lines for condensate for the rear a/c that might be plugged? Or maybe a rubber floor plug under the carpet for some reason? Sounds stupid but I have dealt with heater core problems in the past and this is not in the same location or temp range. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

The A/C condensate drain tube is a rubber elbow affair stuck in/through the lower firewall edge just about under where a passenger's left heel would rest. Get the car up on a lift - it may be hidden behind a flap of rubberized sound insulation. There are several threads every early summer with this problem - in several of those is the diagram of where the drain is on your car. Google "cadillac forums deville air conditioning drain hose" or something close, preceded by "cadillac forums ....".

Also, does your car have a cabin air filter ??? They can clog and get stinky after a few years............

    do you have a sunroof?

if yes - it could be the drain tube is plugged
