    A/C condensation causing wet floor

I went to vacuum out my car this morning and noticed my floor was wet and starting to mold under the floor mat of the passenger side. I looked under my dash and noticed there was a lot of condensation building up under the dash. Also my back floor on the passenger side was also wet too. Could someone please help me identify the reason for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Did not see car year, but I'm gonna take a stab at this and say AC drip houses plugged or heater core leaking.

In either Deville, the A/C condensate drain fitting comes out of the lower firewall edge just about where the passenger's left heel would rest. Up on a lift, use a fuzzy pipe cleaner (craft shop) to clean the drain elbow out. Your car(s) should leave a right good sized puddle of water on the pavement at each stop light in this weather.......

It has to be the A/C drain, otherwise he'd be complaining of no heat, coolant smell, low coolant message and foggy windows. I'd almost bet that once he squeezes the elbow water will flow like a faucet.

Re: A/C condensation causing wet floor

    Tutball,
I am having the Same issue.
I have a 08 DTS and the front drivers and passengers side floor is just short of a pool of water.
I had to remove the carpet up to the front seat in order to vacum and soak up the water.
the padding is very thick and it is just like a sponge. carpet is hard to wring out.
    without ruining it.
Did you resolve your issue.by unplugging the Condensate drain?
or was it a larger issue...Please let me know.....Thanks

    ----------

Can you post a photo of the drain location?
    Please
    Thanks

Can't find a diagram for yours, but it should be under the firewall on the right side. Look for a rubber goose neck.
