    Fm Modulator Connection

I have a 1994 Deville. I am planning to buy a cd changer with an fm modulator. Can I connect the fm modulator to the antenna input in trunk? Where can I get the power for my cd changer in the trunk? Probably these are newbie questions but I got the car only two weeks ago and I want to install the cd changer by myself. Thank you for your help...

Honestly, I think you will be disappointed with an FM modulated CD changer... Kinda like putting wax in your ears before listening

Im pretty sure they had a factory CD changer for those years?

A friend of mine has one of those cd changers. There's nothing wrong with the way it sounds :disappoin If there's a plug for the antenna in the trunk plug it in there. We did that on oe of his cars and it worked OK. Do a search for it here, I think there are some posts around that might give you some ideas for how to connect it.

Thank you for your answers. I have searched for topics but I could not find any detailed explanation about connections. If you see one can you post the link?

You should be able to get the power for the modulator from the power antenna signal.
I believe it is a pink wire. The FM modulators that go inline with the antenna wire arent all that bad, but the ones that are wireless are pretty much accepted as crap.
