I just started changing the plugs on my 02 dhs and was able to get the front ones done. I'm trying to do the rear ones now and the A.I.R. Valve is in the way. I reomved almost all the bolts except there are two connected to a metal hose. I've been trying to get a wrench or socket to get them lose but theres not enought room to actually get them lose. Anyone know any tricks to get them?
The AIR valve metal flex pipe has to be disconnected from the 2-bolt flange - magic words and lie over the top of the engine. Or work on a lift from below (PITA).
The rest of the rear cassette removal is a mirror of the front.
I'll give that a try. Is it easier to get it from underneath the car? I've been trying to get at it from the top for awhile now and those bolts just dont wanna budge.
Thanks for the advice.
