    DTC Codes RS0061 and RS0080 from '96 Deville

    What doe these codes mean? I'm getting a "Service Ride Control" message. I use the Off/Warmer buttons to read these codes, but cannot find out what these codes mean! Been searching for 2 hours now and cannot find any reference to these codes. Even my local dealer said they couldn't tell me what the codes meant unless I went in there and had them work on it. :P

    RS0061 is current, RS0080 is History.

    Is there a list of these somewhere?

    Thanks!

    I forgot you yesterday. I knew there was someone else that needed some info but couldn't remember who. I guess I should've gone through my old posts better (I looked through them but missed you).

    ANYWAY..........

    "RS0061 is current, RS0080 is History." Right?

    RS0061 = R/F position sensor fault
    RS0080 = Steering position sensor fault

    If this doesn't ring a bell with any damage or repairs done previously, time to check connections first and then sensors.
    Hope this info helps.

    Don't worry about it. THANKS for the information!

    I'll go out and check that stuff out. R/F Position Sensor - would that be the Right Front suspension height sensor?

    Thanks again!
