    Door Panel Removal

Anyone done it? I can basically remove the panel controls and thats it. What do I have to do in addition to remove the dam things? I'm talking about front doors, driver + passenger doors!

I've never done it, and someone else here can tell you better, but you stick a screwdriver in there from the side to release a tang that holds it in. I can tell you better once my service manual comes- 10.99 plus shipping from ebay :coolgleam

AS long as it isnt a Haynes manual, please inform me of how to do it!

ive never even been inside a 94, but ive got an idea

pull the lever as if you were to open the door, are there any screws in the panel that you can see?
remove the control panels and anything that is not part of the vinyl door. there are probably a couple screws hiding behind each piece.
if there are any accent lights on the bottom / side of the panel, carefully pry them out with a screwdriver, there are likely to be screws holding those in also.
carefully remove the door panel, and disconnect your harnesses for the control panels.

good luck, it shouldnt be that difficicult. im sure once you get it youll hit yourself in the head and realize how simple it was.

There is a screw behind the door handle lever, however I think there is more to it than that. I've got the control panel off + disconnected, I got that screw out, there are no screws behind the ctsy. lights, and the panel still feels stiff. I think there are clips holding it on but I do not know the locations for these...thankyou anyway for the advise!

ah yes, how could i forget those annoying plastic clips. theyre tapered so when theyre clipped in, it takes some force to get them out. if your door is anything like mine then you will have LOTS of them. mine were around the edge of the panel, every 3 inches or so. once you get 1 or 2, youll be able to get the rest fairly easily.

they are easy to break, so be careful. not too careful though...lol i broke a few of mine and it really made no difference.
