Re: The whats wrong with your 97-99 Deville thread

I drove for 2 months on a bad starter.. had it replaced twice b4 it worked right. The day the second starter got put in.. the wipers went out.
(Of course it rained like 25 out of 30 days the next month)

    Right now I need...

To find the misfire causing the p0300 code.

a fuel filter, or fpr, or fuel pump.. going uphill, or stomping the pedal causes hesitation. If I ease down the pedal it'll accellerate just fine

A wiper motor, or relay, or fuse box work. The radio works fine so Im guessing wiper motor

Shocks, tires, brakes all the way around with an alignment. My CD skips at the slightest bump and the overall ride quality is way down.

My trunk leaks in the spare wheel well, rusted my jack closed. So I need a jack.

I need a heater core, and there's a leak somewhere on the high side of my AC. So I have little heat, no air at all. And a message for compressor being off due to low refrigerant level.

Every 4 or 5 weeks I get coolant and oil level messages.. I just top em off and keep driving.

My interior is immaculate.. no rips, burns, tears or stains inside. All my lights, dash, glove box, trunk and doors work fine. 147k miles.. bought it at 83k and it hauled ass..

It still looks good, but two runs to Florida and back and forth to work have slowed her down a bit. I wish I could park it and gather all the parts i need to fix it at once.

All this and a good wax and buff and she'll be a looker again..

The oil one is no big deal, but the coolant one in the absence of a leak is something to keep an eye on.

    Side view mirror is cracked
    Antenna doesn't work
Rear shocks leak air, just had new compressor put in and it's working overtime, Arnott shocks ordered. $300
Traction Control/ABS light goes on, need to replace speed sensor and hub thingy.
    Headlights very foggy

What I can remember I've had done besides maintenance (brakes, fuel filters, etc)
    Headgaskets changed, $4k
new short block engine additional $2k
    radiator, $200/300 not sure
    a/c compressor $1200
    brake line $200
    Auto level ride compressor $900
    Fuel gauge sensor $0 (warranty)
    Fuel Rail Line $0 (recall)
    2 Windshields $0 (insurance)
Turn Signal Control Module (Don't remember how much)
I'm sure there's others, just don't remember what else.
