If the 2000 has not changed from the '97, select oil life remaining with the INFORMATION button then press and hold the RESET button.
I used to have a '92 but as they say "the memory is the second thing to go" (can't remember what the first is). I want to say press and hold the AUTO and RESET buttons but I am not positive.
In either case the owners manual will tell you how to do it.

On the 92 deville hold down range and reset buttons for over 5 seconds. When you let go the change oil light will blink at you.
