    Anybody have their deville bagged?

Hey, I'm just wondering if anybody has their Deville on air suspension. If so, was it a totally custom installation or was there a kit that fit on the car? Also, was it expensive or not too bad in price? Thanks.

I mean does anybody have it bagged, like aftermarket air ride with air bags where you can lower and raise it and make it go side to side.

Actually, the only pneumatics are for the rear load leveling suspension. They use a different method for controlling ride.

Anyway, the only difficulty is the strut setup, and thats not much of an obstacle.

I don't have my '00 DTS bagged, but i will have hydraulics by the end of the summer. No, there are no kits of either type specifically for the car. But brackets and/or struts are pretty easy to build. The only problem I'm running into is finding aftermarket struts for the car so I can start tearing into them. It's proving to be almost impossible so I think I'm going to end up building a set from scratch. Try going to a machine shop. If you show them your struts and a bag (or cylinder, whichever you decide to go with) they can easily fabricate something for you.

They do make a direct bolt on kit for the '96-'99 devilles. I lam thinking of getting the kit when my front air struts totally go out. The kit is like $1700. it basically replaces your stock air struts with a "bagged" strut. The kit comes with all your lines, compressor and air tank. Try airbagit.com

    Back from the dead.

I've been looking all over for lowering info for my '97 Deville and finally found a thread that might help. Thank you for the link to airbagit.com. This kit seems to be promising:

    http://www.airbagit.com/mobile/Produ...BS-CAD-20-KIT3

Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it a lowering kit or just a stock replacement?

Obviously bagging the car is a pretty drastic and expensive approach, but I haven't found any spring or coilover solutions to get a '97 Deville lower. What's available these days? I've heard Seville springs work up front but haven't had any luck finding ways to get the rear lower.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Disclaimer: No, I don't intend to put hideous giant rimz on this car, I just want it lower on the stock wheels for that classic "lead sled" look.

you DO realize ANY method of lowering the car -
    WILL make for a harder/stiffer/harsher ride -

I thought your QUEST was for that 1960's float-like-a-boat Cadillac ride -
