What do you guys use to recolor your leather seats ?

Remove this ad
Just wondering what you guys use to touch up you leather seats ?? I have a 97 Deville with cream colored leather, with some color wear on the drivers side where you slide in. I was thinking cream colored shoe polish, but thought I'd ask you guys if anything else was available more suitable for this application.
Thanks, Bob

I've got the same color leather and similar problem. Your idea sounds good to me and it can't hurt the leather. All colored leather is dyed once it leaves the original owner....

Re: What do you guys use to recolor your leather seats ?

I have had the same problem with my interior, mainly on the arm rest. I have tried the shoe creams but the problem with that is that after your clothing rubs against it a few times, it is back to square one.
I have not checked into this any further, but would assume that an upholstery shop would have a longer lasting product.

www.leatherworldtech.com

found it tonight online, They have exact match dye for Cadillac. I looked up my color off the Service parts ID tag, Shale Neutral , and ordered a 16 oz bottle, sounded like just what I need.
