1988 Cadillac Sedan Deville - 179,562 miles as of today.
had tranny rebuilt 60,000 ago, alternator, rear air struts couple years ago, needs front shocks, brake pads another alternator and battery (over 6 years lol) and ummmm oh yea water pump went recently, had that fixed. drive it EVERY DAY atleast minimum 50 miles give or take.

( recently added twilight sentinel package into it with the help of this forum, and changed rear pillar lights, headliner was done by a shop for about 300 (complete above seats, pilliars, etccccc) over a year ago and its still lookin awesome.... lookin to get the seats redone (blue leather) new carpet and paintin it factory fresh... man i love this caddy shes been nothing but good to me (knock on wood)

I just bought a 1993 Allante last saterday with 11,373 miles on it, the car is brand new in all respects, its pearl white, I also have a 1993 with 60k on that i drive on trips which has the hard top on it

97 deville with 120,000 mi. last 20kmi replaced plugs, wires, soon an 02 sensor, and 4 tires. Next year this time it will most likely have 160,000 mi.
88 eldorado has 130,000 miles last 500 miles have replaced 4struts, brake lines, fuel tank, sending unit, parking brake cable,pedal, tires, icm, $3000 drove 500 miles and now tranny slips!!!!

I think i may be the only 1 who has a cadillac that cost 400 times what it is worth??

is yours the northstar? if so you may have a carbon knock,(this usually only happens when the motors cold and idling) there are articles on here to show how to fix that, as a first step i would start running premium to see if this clears up the problem.
