It just passed the California emmission test only inspection. The wholesale lot I bought it from told me the man that traded it for another Cadillac told them he put another engine in it, but they had no paperwork to prove it.

My '91 DeVille had 199,000 miles on it when I bought it for $999 six weeks ago. It now has 202,000 and ran great on a weekend road trip to the beach, getting about 19 MPG. Had a major tune-up right after I bought it with new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter, put new tires on last Saturday and still need to replace the front brake pads and rotors. All things considered, I think I got a heckuva deal.
My '64 Impala has 171,000 miles; she only had 113,000 when I bought her in 1999, but I believe she's best enjoyed on the road, not in the garage. Engine rebuilt at 126,000 and running strong ever since. |

Either I spoke too soon or didn't knock on the fake wood. My starter died yesterday. $300 parts and labor for the replacement, but I got it fixed the same day. Still like the car, though. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
