My plan is to go 4 1/2 more years with my Deville. Then, I will spend a grand repainting it, new windshield, etc., and give it to my stepdaughter for her 16th birthday.
Of course, that frees me up to go buy a CTS, which I am intrigued by, and which--by then--should approach my price range. |

My 1987 Coupe Deville has just over 230,000 kms on the body and just over 80,000 kms (50,000 miles) on the engine. Added fuel injector cleaner yesterday with a fill-up. Next week, I'm getting her tuned up and oil changed/checked next week to take her up to my hometown (a luxurious hour or so drive lol) for my birthday. My birthday's on the 9th but I gotta work late so a few of us are going the 10th to have dinner & test the baby on her 1st real road trip since I got her.
What's everyone's opinions on the 4.1 V8? I heard from some that they are really good and others say they suck. Since the 18th/Feb. when I got it, I haven't done anything to it yet, didn't have to!!! Will have more pics soon, gotta wait til a nice sunny day to wash her, all full of crap from the winter roads here. Car Show plans for June!!! |
