Yes I'm very serious. This should be part of the maintenance routine. Unless you drive the car like an old man your motor mount will be broken I would seriously say every 30k
Ok here's my history. Bought the car with 24 k on it. 1 week later took it in for something, motor mount was broken. $400+ for the dealer to repair it.
Had transmission work done at 45k. Motor mount ripped again and replaced.
AJ developed solid mounts, 62k bought a mount form AJ just because I can. My mechanic saved the old mount, torn right in half.
So you tell me. I say if you have a N* you have a broken motor mount unless you baby the car.
