I found a MINT 1991 Coupe Deville Special Edition on a lot here locally. It has 47,000 miles and is absolutely gorgeous. Copper exterior, brown cloth interior and has the gold package. The lot wants $5950 for it. But I can only finance what the blue book lists it for. NADA lists it for $3112. Is there another blue book that I'm not aware of? Or is this dealer overpricing the car? The sales guy said that he will not budge on price. It truly is MINT. Even the ashtray is spotless. It smells new. When it comes to a car this old, that is so clean, does "blue book" mean anything? If I had the extra cash ($2838), I think I would buy it. Let me know if you guys think I'm out of my mind—I need to hear it from someone other than a psychiatrist.
