    Weatherstrip replacement

1990 Deville. A little while back some jackasses ripped off my cd player. They busted out the driver side little quarter panel in the rear driver side door. Well it was hot as hell that day I mean killer and the storms were rolling in. Having to much pride to jerry-rig the thing I got on the horn with one of these glass replacement joints. I screwed up big time not watching that guy like a hawk cuz he tore it up. He completely tore off the outside weatherstrip. I wanna know how difficult that is and what it might possibly run me in a shop. I have gotten into the door panel in my little chevy work car but I bet its probably quite a bit more involved than that.

Are we talking aout the rubber seal that goes around the window, or the weather strip, around the door?

That's what I thought. You would have thought the dude replacing it would have taken care to seperate that from the old window instead of just reefin on it till it tore off. Crackhead bastard. If I had my chance I think I would beat him worse than the kids that jacked my stereo. Live and learn I guess.

I would go back to the place and see about getting them to replace it, worst they can say is no, and then you never go back there!
