Question DHS Rear Rotor Warp

I have a 2001 DHS that keeps warping rear rotors every 3 - 4 months. I have replaced with GM, NAPA, and Midas rotors, but still keep warping. Calipers seem to be free and not binding. Any suggestions or replacement ideas.

Re: DHS Rear Rotor Warp

Have you trued them? New rotors can need turning. Are you over torquing the lugs?? K_C

Re: DHS Rear Rotor Warp

What K_C said, and take a hard look at the rear hub surfaces: they should be absolutely clean before you seat a rotor on them. Lug nut torque is 100 ft/lb in a star sequence. If you replaced pads, is there any chance that the puck did not get screwed back into the caliper body ?? There's a tool to do this, and if you don't the pads will ride on the rotor and overheat it.
