Cadillac Forums: Anyone ever retrofitted an armrest?
I've come to realize rather quickly that the flip-down armrest for my '98 Deville is way too small. It looks like the 2000-and-up Devilles had a wider armrest. Has anyone ever retro-fitted one of those? It'd be a bit nicer, especially if I ever have to fold it up and have someone sit in the middle seat up front...
The existing armrest is so narrow that there's an inch-and-a-half gap between it and the seats when you fold it up. I can't imagine that being a suitable seatback for someone sitting up front.
