tac on a 1900 deville

Ok i know thire has got to be a way to put a tac on a 1990 deville i was just wondering how to do it . I know ill probly have to splice in to some wires but i just didint want to go all splice happy and start hacking up my wireing . i found a nice little 2 1/2 in tac and i dont want to go and buy it if thire is no way to put it on my car

It should be pretty straightforward. There is a tachometer terminal on the distributor already, and the rest of it is cabin wiring.

i know thire is a tachometer terminal on the distributor but all the things ive sean say that you have to splice in to a wire comeing out of the ecm so do you have to do that or not .
