I saw an '87 DeVille on Ebay with one that looked really sharp. I did find another forum where a guy posted a thread claiming that he had continental kits for nearly all cars for a reasonable price ($300-600), but the site is no longer in existence.
Anyway, does anybody know of a website or a shop that still sells them? I know they are very dated now but if the price is what I can afford I would love to get my hands on one. I've got an '88 Fleetwood FWD, which for those who don't know is basically a DeVille. |

I called Big Tex on Cullin Blvd. and went by this place called the Slab Spot and they were asking 1200 to 1500 for new E&G kit, I ran back to Slab Customs. I called and talked to the owner and he explained that these kits are about to become collectors items, he said E&G does not do mass production on the item anymore, they are doing a made to order type deal. He also said E&G are about to stop making them so the prices will sky rocket. That's why you can't hardly find them anymore. They have used ones on ebay, but you never know what might come in the mail from ebay,so it's up to you to take that risk. I decided to just get me a new one. |

I just want it to look a little classy. They look good on my body style car because it sits between the taillights, so it doesn't actually stick out the back of the car. The taillights actually stick out further. I also don't plan on spending a grand for one.
Thanks for the feedback guys. |
