I remember back when I bought a Continental in 1997, the Dealership included, as a gift, this really nice Cross pen with the lincoln logo on it. That was "the" freebie you received for buying a Lincoln.
They actually tried to use that as an incentive for buying the car. "And you know, sir, all Lincolns come with this complimentary Cross pen.."
Anyway. When buying your DeVilles, did anyone get freebies? Maybe a Cadillac-logo golf bag, a roadside emergency kit, or something like that?
We Got A Free Black And White Cobblestone Picture. You Send A Picture Into The Company And They Did The Picutre In A Marble Black And White. It's Pretty Cool. Thats Only Because We Found Our Own Financing Lol.. Other Than That We Prob Wouldn't Of Got Anything
When I bought my Caddy, I do not recall getting any "freebees" - but when I bought my 2003 Town Car, like about 5 days after, a really big box arrived via UPS. It was very light in weight, but large. I had no idea what it was, nor who sent it to me. Upon opening it up, UP FLEW a big bright balloon, imprinted with "THANK YOU FOR BUYING YOUR CAR FROM US"
but, it did not fly away, as the ribbon was taped to yet another box, still inside the arrival box. In THAT box was a one pound box of cookies, from a famous place, here in New Jersey that actually makes homemade cookies at retail.
There was a note on the cookies stating that they contained absolutely zero preservatives, were made within the prior 24 hours, were 100% Kosher and should you need sugar-free cookies, to call them up and another pound of like, but sugar-free would be sent to you.
My dealer gave me a cadillac gold crest key fob, and a hat that had "Charger Unleashed" on it...the hat was more of a joke, as he later gave me a bottle of Segram's VO.
