My brother bought another DTS!

My brother had a loaded silver 2003 DTS from 2005-2007. He drove it well over 100K miles and then sold it after some expensive repairs. He then went to older cars such as a '94 Buick Roadmaster Limited and '92 Brougham d'Elegance. He saved up some $$ and was going to buy a 2006 DTS with the Performance Package for around $28-30K.

..... until.... a gentleman in my local Cadillac Club told me he was selling his 2003 DTS. It has every option except night vision. It is a CPO car with the 100K warranty. He put the Corsa exhaust, custom Cold Air intake, Brembo rotors with ceramic pads, tint, and xenons. The car is super clean and has been garage kept all its life with no Illinois winters (it was taken to their Florida house in the winter).

So I snapped some pics, sent them to my brother in Virginia and he wired the money! He just flew in on Friday and drove it back to Virginia yesterday with no issues (915 miles). He loves the car, it looks, drives, and smells like new.

He spent half of what he was going to and was able to pay cash!

Very nice! I LOVED my 2000 DTS. The only thing I couldn't stand anymore was the terrible squeaking that came from my center armrest. It was unbearable. But, it was a first year model...

He had nightvision in his old one, it sucked and made the front end look weird... and cost $$$ to replace when a rock hit the camera.

He put his new '03 Black DTS in the shop today. It is getting new Vogues and some warranty work. Turns out it has a power steering leak, needs tie rods, and engine mounts... all covered under warranty

Nice! You can't ever go wrong with a triple black DTS, especially when you've got vogues on it.

Now with it being CPO until 100k, is that a regular GM warranty or is it a GMPP extended warranty? Is there any deductible on it?

It is a gorgeous color combo, I would have bought it if he didn't. The Corsa makes the Northstar sound mean

It is a GM extended warranty with no deductible. It expires at the end of this year though..

My brother just sold his '92 d'Elegance with the 5.7 liter, the new owner pics it up tonight.

wait wait wait, there is a local cadillac club around here??? Do, PLEASE tell. That picture that includes his old DTS with the Mickey D's in the background looks like the one on Ogden near DGN.

Wow, that Brougham is stunning. I was never a fan of the white ones, but that looks good. My favorite color was the Diplomat Blue with the chrome rockers and chrome window guards and chrome everything else. I also saw a red one with a white leather top once and that was damn good looking. It had the factory wire wheels too.

He likes the technology and says this one is faster than his old one because the Corsa and CAI.

The picture with the Bentley, my Fleetwood, and his old silver DTS was taken in Virginia Beach, VA at my sister's wedding. The church is next to a McDonalds.

The buyer of his Brougham is not picking it up till Friday now. It is a nice car but has 136K miles.
