One sunny day this caught my eye: As I've mentioned before my '93 has have the digital cluster, and in the odo. window above the mileage there is the word "Emissions". What is the purpose of this? Even more strange, how come Devilles w/ the Analog cluster didn't have it? |

I think he saw the "EMISSIONS" window on the panel face, sort of like you can see all the little icons etched into my STS panel in the right sun angle.
Wonder if the car has an early SES system ?? |

Wonder if the car has an early SES system ?? | Yes, that is what I mean, it has never acually been lit up.
And Ranger, yes I have a SES and a SVS light on my dash, not sure what the SVS is for, this is the first time I've ever seen one. |

Many clusters are designed a few years before the car goes into production.
The 'dummy' warning lamps may never light up, or maybe, if the car is programmed for export.
Export laws change, Federal laws change. Easier to have that lamp there and already done in then go back and retool the cluster.
