Or can I get a foglight switch from a DTS in the junkyard and modify it to work in my DHS? |

If so is there some sort of mod that wold keep them on, I recently did the "quad" beam mod to keep lo/hi beams on at the same time.
And I plan on using a bosch relay setup for the main power on the foglights as far as the switch itself would I be able to run just a positive to the new dts switch panel in my interior to control the foglights? |

Sure ticket from State Smokey. That's exactly why the switching system is built that way. Besides, fog lights put a diffuse beam down low and on the road less than 25 feet in front of the car and the lens and reflectors are specifically designed to work that way. Other than looking sort of ricer, there's no practical reason to light all 4 in high.
If you want to go really wildly illegal, substitute a set of 1,000,000 candlepower Hella or PIAA driving lights for the fogs and aim them parallel to the road. |

I simply spliced the foglamps with the headlamp low beams. So anytime the car is in gear, both low headlights and foglamps are on.
Foglamps turn off on high beam.
It should be noted, you will not find any plugs in the harness for the foglamps. In other words, there are no hidden connectors taped to the harness.

If you have really good low beams, the added light from the fog lights is barely noticeable when it's not foggy. And when it is foggy, good low beams throw glare over top of the fog lights' beam, so they're no good then, either! I had 'em in my Lincoln, my STS, my Mustangs, My Z-28, and my Dodge truck, but I'd never pay extra for them.
Anyhow, fog lights work best when they're yellow or amber, and you can turn off the regular headlights. That's illegal - fog lights are classified as "auxiulliary lighting", and youi can't drive with just aux lights. That's also why the factory switching won't allow you to have just the fog lights on. Stupid law, admittedly, but it was enacted because most all factory fog lights have no provisions for aiming them. |
