"Vehicle Overspeed" indicator

I was watching a youtube video today and while someone was accelerating excessively a "Vehicle Overspeed" warning came on and the chimer bonged...

The vehicle was a Deville Concours. What year did they start installing this 'indicator' and in what Deville models? (Or was it all of them)

export models had this
some were H rated (aka 130 MPH limiter)
but since they were exported the gov removed
that message is there to say hey stupid your going faster than your tires can handle...

I know there is probably a thread on this already, but could I pull a fuse or disconnect the speed sensors just for shits and giggles to do better than 113? Damn it, I have the tires to do it!

NO
the cars not stupid
VSS is computed via wheel speed sensors on ALL four wheels, tranny gear, rpm and many other factors
your not going to outsmart the car
you want it bypassed contact westers and pay 295 bucks.
its the O N L Y way
