place it over white stripe, and when its dirty...........peel it off and its white all over again!
i can just keep putting the laminate on and never let the white be exposed.
imagine how clean and undamaged the white will be by the time the tires are worn out.
nice idea but havent seen anything like that anywhere.
for now i use L.A.'s Totally Awesome. its a yellow cleaning spray that i found at a regular store and it does the job without cinderella style scrubbing.
really works and its easy. |

Eventually I scrubbed the gold and white paint off. I was so pissed off. I sold them on Ebay for $400. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM SO MUCH, but I will NEVER buy a set ever again...
Go to Belle Tire or any reputable tire shop and get some Vogue Tire Cleaner. If you do not use this Vogue Cleaner, your warranty will be voided. It costs about 15 bucks for a big bottle. It is made especially for Vogues by the vogue tire company.
GOOD LUCK... |

but the cleaning isnt that hard....luckily i have no chipping on my mustard or mayo and have had them for about 2 yrs.
ive seen threads talking shit about vogues saying they in performance.
But who buys vogues to perform? theyre for a classy showey look.
if they want performance they should buy something else...many perf brands out there.
20"s or more also suck in performance but look sweet.
i love ther look and hate when guys talk shit about vogues performance.not that any of you have
thats not what theyre for. |

Overpriced.....? DEFINATELY!!!
Crap & Dangerous......? Depends how you drive.
Aany tire will be crap if you never rotate, maintain them, have bad suspension, and drive like your michael night.
Like i said, ive had them for 2 yrs and have performed well.
no complains here.
if i wanted performance tires, i woulda gone elsewhere. |

Honestly, i have not heard of anyone (or the media for that matter) telling horror stories regarding VOGUE Tyres. Yet i keep hearing "theyre unsafe",...."theyre crap",....yada yada yada.
I know for sure they have way better publicity than Firestone and its sub divisions in the recent years with all their blowouts.
Thats why Firestone, etc...wont ever make their way onto any one my fams cars/trucks.
Until i hear from a major repuatable source that Vogue is falling apart, like firestone....Vogues will stay on my Cadi. (Unless ofcoarse i get 20"+ rims).
My 235/55R17 Vogues, wrapped around DTS blades, well maintained, as clean as when they were bought- 2 yrs and counting.
But i respect the opinions of those who dont like them....to each their own, no? |

| | Cadillac Owners Fanatic Cadillac(s): Cadillac | | | | | Re: Cleaning Vogues Hey people, I'll be the first one to admit that Vogue Tires looks amazing on a Caddy. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way they look. When I put a set on my DTS, I loved them dearly.
HOWEVER, I can also attest to the fact that Vogue tires are definately 100 percent positively the WORST tire I have ever purchased. They performed horrible in the rain, below average in the snow, squealed loudly whenever I turned or cornered at a reasonable speed, were the softest tire I have ever had and constantly leaked air and I even got two flat tires within 3 months. The white walls get dirty very easily, and will not come clean in the car wash, FORCING you to scrub them manually everytime you want them clean. The gold wear off, and the white walls scrub off easily as well. I was so disappointed with these tires. By far the absolute worst tires I have ever had.
But even after saying all these negative things, I will still admit that I love the way these tires looked on my Caddy, and everytime I see a Caddy with Vogues I envy them. I give them two thumbs up, and two thumbs down. Keep riding clean MrGoodBar! |

never sqeaked, have not had to refill with air, and since I live in los angeles, ca.
its warm, dry, no rain and definitely no snow.
So i guess i "lucked" out with where i live and my weather.
By the way, since you only have 2 thumbs....ill take the thumbs up only
thanks BOI
but its true though, gotta keep em clean..at least once a week depending on where and how you drive.
To each their own. |

| | Cadillac Owners Fanatic Cadillac(s): Cadillac | | | | | Re: Cleaning Vogues Now I understand... Mrgoodbar, you live in Cali. HOW LUCKY FOR YOU! Im in Michigan, where the pot holes and cold weather beat my poor little DTS senseless. I mean seriously, our streets are horrendous. I can see how these tires would behave better in a beautiful area such as yours. Up here in MI, I had to scub my wheels about every 2 or 3 days. Especially since I wash my car about 4 times a week. I hate when it gets dirty, and dirty vogues are a sin. If you are gonna ride them, you must ride them clean...
Anyways, there is nothing better than a nice vogue set of wheels on some DTS Blades. Killer looks. Im going to get 22s in about a week. I hope those work out better for me.
Ride On,

not to mention bumps etc...your gonna have to creep over those.
out here you start creeping to avoid rim and tire damage and people think your creeping to stalk....gotta be careful.
post a pic once you get em.
good luck |

They have NEVER EVER leaked any air! They are nothing special, tire-wise, but look oh so good! By the way, they are not Goodyears.
They are Kelly Springfield brand tires. Goes way back to the fifties, when they were sold at Sunoco Gas Stations. They are grossly over-priced as is their Vogue TYRE cleaner. I too use Westleys, but I do not scrub hard. Light & gentle and a light coat on the whitewall part of spray pledge will coat them and make it hard for brake dust or other dirt to stick. A good blast of high pressure plain water will usually do, and if dirty the Westly's and a toothbrush will get them good again. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
