That being said...
How much washer fluid does the reservoir hold? I've rarely had to add fluid..but recently, I've been putting in a gallon every few weeks.
I haven't seen any leaking out..but maybe I just haven't noticed. |

Maybe it holds 3 quarts or maybe a bit more? Do both sides of the windshield get sprayed ? Equally ? If not, maybe a washer hose problem. Losing flouid.......maybe a cracked reservoir. There will be some blue caked residue near a crack. (Most fluid is blue for some marketing reason, even though it contains alcohols, which are clear ((except Bourbon..))). |

A few months ago when I first got the "check washer fluid" I went a couple more months before adding a gallon. And then it was bone dry. Took the whole gallon..then a few weeks later I got the message again..took anotherfull gallon.
Oh well..I'm figuring washer fluid is probably cheaper than a repair |

Not pressurized. Not exposed to "high" temperatures. |

The only problem is, if I remember correctly it is tucked down in the fender well and the splash shield has to be removed. Not a job for most ladies. |
