Does this sound like a good idea?
Would this be way too loud?
Any help is much appreciated. |

It really comes down to personal preference. |

STS2003 is an exhaust tech........and there are a few others in here.......listen to them. |

I prefer glasspacks to dronemasters anyway but they are illegal in my state. I also don't like glasspacks with a louvred core, they have a raspy sick sound to me. I like the smooth core with just holes in it. I am building a 76 Camaro in a couple months and plan to try some Dynomax Ultraflows. They are a straight through design and I'm hopeing they sound like a glasspack. I know there are probably more expensive mufflers out there that may sound better and louder but the old glasspack is hard to beat for $25 and they last forever. That's probably why they are illegal in Maine; they are the only mufflers that don't rust out. |
