1998 DeVille Concours - Radio Issue

Remove this ad
I did some work on my caddy this weekend. I had the battery disconnected while I did the work, roughly 3 days total. I reconnected it and now I get no audio out of my radio on any station, FM or AM but my CD/Casette player works fine. Any ideas?

Re: 1998 DeVille Concours - Radio Issue

Nevermind I fixed it. Just incase anyone else ever has the same issue here is what I did

Re-seat all related antenna fuses.
Pull main radio/radio interface fuse
turn ignition on
press the on/off switch for radio 2 to 3 times (drains remaining electrical in the radio)
Put main radio/radio interface fuse back in place
Radio now works

Hi,
I'm having the same issue for the same reasons you mentioned ( battery replacement). Where are those various "fuses", "interface fuse", etc. located?

Thanks,

ken
